| The Model FS7-2173-2RP is a Unitized Electro-Optical radiant energy detector that responds to Multi-Spectral Wide Band IR, Near Band IR and Visible Band energy from a fire. The detector has been designed specifically for Clean Room applications and is used by major semiconductor and wet bench manufacturers worldwide.
The FS7-2173-2RP Detector provides an intelligent two-stage response to semiconductor wet-bench fires.
Stage 1- ALERT: This is a first-stage response to a small fire with a heat energy output of 3 kw. Often these fires self-extinguish and there is no need to shut down the wet bench or initiate and extinguishing system.
